Reminders that nudge participants, and stop when they are done.

Reminders are gentle, automatic nudges to participants: finish a pending questionnaire, sync a wearable, or keep a routine in the protocol. Quiet hours and caps keep the burden low. Try it: pick a reminder type and run it.

Three kinds of reminders

One for each thing a study expects.

Task reminders

For a pending questionnaire, CRF or intervention

  • First nudge a set time after delivery
  • Repeat every N minutes, up to a count
  • Checked at send time: no nudge once it is done
  • Never sent after the completion window closes
Device-sync reminders

When a wearable goes quiet

  • Sent after a set time without new data
  • Every sync restarts the clock
  • A maximum count keeps it from nagging
  • Longer gaps become a data-gap alert for the team
Custom reminders

For routines in the protocol

  • Recurring nudges not tied to a task, such as medication at 8:00
  • Scheduled with the same builder as questionnaires
  • Targeted to the whole study or specific groups
  • Push notification and in-app inbox
Guards

Helpful, never noisy.

Every reminder passes the same checks: quiet hours, a per-participant cap and a minimum time between reminders. Messages can use values from each participant’s profile, and policies can be edited while the study is live.

When reminders are not enough

Reminders go to participants only. When check-ins keep being missed, an alert tells the study team so a person can follow up.
